Sigiriya

                                                 

                 There are so  many beautiful places in Sri Lanka. Sigiriya is a one of them. It is situated in Kurunegala and it is a one of the famous and most attractive place in Sri Lanka.
    

                  Sigiriya means lion's rock. High of the rock is around 200 meters. According to the history of Sri Lanka by this rock used as a kingdom in Sri Lanka by king Kashyapa in 5th century. This rock is one of the UNESCO heritages in Sri Lanka. 

                   Sigiriya has many special features such as flower gardens, lakes, caves etc. According to the mahavansha 
king Kashyapa built his kingdom in Sigiriya to protect from his brother king Mihidu.


        Sigiriya has great engineering technology. Several ponds are located in the top of the Sigiriya. Water for this water gardens come from the underground pipes system. This system is also active in rain season. 

                    Sigiriya has many frescoes. Most of the people climb Sigiriya in order to watch these drawings. Those are very beautiful. People believe those drawings shows the ladies who was gone for warship the Buddha. 

                      Tourists come to visit Sigiriya because above informations. So Sri Lankans proude of Sigiriya.

My Best Friend

              My best friend is Banuka Deshan who is 22 years old.😃😀😉 He live in Kananvila. He is a very handsome and kind boy .👦😊 I have known him since preschool. He has been my best friend ever since.       After our pre-school education we entered one school. We are both Sri Medhankara M. V. Learned up to O/L. 😊😀😁 There I had to pass O/L and go to another school. After that the bond at school was lost.😞😔  But for the A/L exam we went to class together and studied together. That kept our friendship going well.😅😆             We passed the exam well. Now he has a good job in a private company. He has another sister. He is 4 years younger than us. Banuka likes buses a lot.
