                 There  are many hobbies in my boyhood. Some of it is playing games, watching tv, and growing plants. One of it is reading books. I feel most pleasurable of reading different types of books, especially story books by famous authors. We have a small library and it is a precious wealth to our family, it has a good collection of books.           Among those I have the great liking on a number of story books of my choice.            Everyone has their own ambition in life. The ambition leads us to a definite aim in life. It differs from person to person. Some may want to be social servants, while others to be into arts and crafts and so on.             The ambition in life also depends on the choice and interest of the person as to what one would like to become in life. My ambition in life is to join the navy. I would love myself to be an navy officer. It is not easy to get in the navy.               My best friend is Banuka Deshan who is 22 years old.😃😀😉 He live in Kananvila. He is a very handsome and kind boy .👦😊 I have known him since preschool. He has been my best friend ever since.       After our pre-school education we entered one school. We are both Sri Medhankara M. V. Learned up to O/L. 😊😀😁 There I had to pass O/L and go to another school. After that the bond at school was lost.😞😔  But for the A/L exam we went to class together and studied together. That kept our friendship going well.😅😆             We passed the exam well. Now he has a good job in a private company. He has another sister. He is 4 years younger than us. Banuka likes buses a lot.             Mr. W. D. Amaradewa is a world famous singer, a university lecturer, a lyricist and the musician of the Maldives national anthem. His birth certificate name is mentioned as Wanakkuwaththamitiwaduge Don Albert Perera. He was born in Moratuwa in 5th of December in 1927. He is the son of Mr.Don Ginoris Perera and Mrs. Baalaapuwaduge Magee Weslina Mendis.              He was the youngest in a family of seven children.
